We are seeking a full time WELL Performance Testing Agent to provide technical expertise for projects pursuing WELL certification, WELL at Scale, WELL Health-Safety Rating, WELL Equity Rating, and WELL Performance Ratings. We are looking for an energetic, fast learner who is detail oriented to join our growing company based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Requirements

Education and Training Requirements/Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field of study related to one or more of the following specialties: Architecture (architecture, construction, interior design) Engineering (mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, controls), Environmental Studies, Facilities Management
  • WELL AP required
  • WELL Performance Testing Agent Accreditation required
  • Two years +/- of direct experience working as a WELL Performance Testing Agent on WELL projects.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret building floor plans, sections, site plans, construction specifications, mechanical schedules, commissioning reports and operational policies required
  • Professional experience in reviewing, consulting, and/or conducting performance verification for projects pursuing WELL Certification required
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Detailed technical understanding of and experience with one or more of the following building operations topics: indoor air quality, acoustics, water quality, lighting design, or thermal comfort preferred
  • Experience with WELL at Scale a plus
  • Experience with LEED, GreenGlobes, or Fitwel Indoor Air Quality testing a plus

About the WELL Performance Testing Agent

Essential Functions:

  • Perform pre-testing coordination and on-site performance verification testing for air, water, light, sound, and thermal comfort parameters.
  • Perform in-depth technical review and analyses of collected data to satisfy rating system reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate multiple project timelines and appropriate resource allocation
  • Educate and directly engage the marketplace by effectively communicating through written, verbal, and in-person meetings with project teams and owners
  • Provide technical customer service support to project teams.
  • Contribute to the continued development and increased technical knowledge of fellow Specialists through collaborative teamwork.
  • Understanding of the building-related sustainability rating system including forms, calculations, and documentation requirements.
  • Opportunity to learn more about the LEED, SITES, TRUE, Fitwel, and Living Building Challenge rating systems, including forms, calculations, documentation requirements, and how to apply the criteria to a project or the review of documentation for verification.

Essential Functions After Initial Training Period:

  • Contribute to a project’s pursuit of a WELL or other performance-based certification by working as the performance assessment project manager, working with both internal and external consulting teams to guide the project team through the entire performance assessment process, from pre-testing through Certification Award, possibly beyond Award for Recertification and periodic testing requirements for Recertification.
  • Complete all necessary forms, annotations, and documentation required to document fulfilment of the rating system requirements.
  • Perform in-depth technical review and analyses of performance data for compliance with building-related sustainability rating systems on time with high quality.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) review of work done by other PTA’s.
  • Participate in Business Development activities such as networking, speaking engagements, and written content for marketing purposes.
  • Track performance metrics and career development goals.
