Electric Owl Studios

Electric Owl Studios, located in Stone Mountain, is the world’s first purpose-built LEED Gold-certified film and TV studio campus. The goal of the project was to hold the title of the most sustainable studio in the world. The project consisted of eight stages, office space, Mill space, set decoration storage, special effects and prop storage, a catering kitchen, costume, laundry and dyeing services, Hair and Makeup space, 6 Green Rooms, space for Table Reads or Miscellaneous staging, and a 400-space parking area with 3 Base Camp areas. Included in the 232,000 SF campus is efficient insulation, EV charging stations, and LED lighting used to reduce the studio’s carbon footprint. Now completed, Electric Owl Studios plans to generate more than 30 percent of its power from renewable sources.
