Epsten Group HQ Is Now RESET Accredited

After successfully completing the rigorous monitoring deployment criteria for our RESET module, we are thrilled to announce that Epsten Group HQ is now RESET Accredited.

RESET Air is the world’s first sensor-based, performance-driven building standard and certification program where indoor air quality is continuously monitored. Indoor air quality data is gathered through air quality monitors on a minute-by-minute basis that measures the levels of CO2, TVOC, PM2.5, temperature, and humidity.

While we are still working toward achieving RESET Certified, the RESET program’s pinnacle of recognition, achieving RESET Accredited is one step closer to our goal. Meeting the necessary levels for our space was quite a challenge, given that the air within our building is shared. Due to the surrounding renovation work, our air quality measurements were adversely affected. Our team worked closely with building management to encourage more frequent filter replacements and address concerns with any unauthorized work in the building to try and rectify the levels. We were also able to drastically reduce the VOCs in our space by using Pureti Clear, a photocatalytic product that is a professionally applied, water-based surface treatment.

Assessing Indoor Air Quality on an active basis with data and cloud software is the best way to increase the visibility of the problems we face while also giving us the ability to find solutions towards health and sustainability in the built environment.
