2025 was a year of meaningful work, strong partnerships, and community engagement for the Epsten Group Architecture Department. We proudly advanced several high-impact projects, including our continued work with the North American Headquarters for Kingspan, where thoughtful design and sustainability remained at the forefront. We also supported the Salisbury Zoo with design efforts for their new Andean Bear exhibit, a project that beautifully merged natural habitats with educational and conservation goals. In addition, our close collaboration with Epsten’s Building Enclosure team allowed us to contribute to a series of adaptive reuse projects.
Beyond project work, 2025 was rich with opportunities to share knowledge and engage with our local and professional communities. Olu Oshinubi represented our team in academic and youth-centered settings, presenting at SCAD, Wesley Academy, and Parkside Elementary, inspiring the next generation of designers and thinkers. Meanwhile, Carmen Evans brought Epsten Group’s values to prominent leadership platforms by hosting a walking tour on architecture and wellness at the AIA Women’s Leadership Conference and serving as a panelist for the USGBC Women in Green Event, elevating conversations around career progress, sustainability, and community impact.
As we look ahead, 2026 promises to be a year of continued momentum and deepened connections. We are excited to further strengthen our partnerships with our beloved zoo clients, whose missions align closely with our commitment to education, conservation, and the surrounding community. Their trust in our team continues to motivate us to deliver thoughtful, enriching environments for both wildlife and visitors.
Most importantly, we have the sincerest gratitude for our greater team of consultants, engineers, collaborators, and internal partners. All of whom help bring our ideas to life. Together, we remain committed to designing projects that are not only more efficient and innovative, but that also enhance neighborhoods, uplift communities, and create spaces of enduring beauty. With shared passion and purpose, the year ahead is full of possibility.
