Project Description

The Armed Forces Readiness Center in Montgomery, Alabama, is a 144,000 square foot office and administrative complex for the Alabama Army National Guard. The building was designed to reduce energy use relative to the ASHRAE Standard 90.1 Appendix G baseline by over 40%, and the $40 million dollar project also included installation of a 363.3 kW photovoltaic array to help the installation meet the EPAct 2005 requirements for energy production from renewable sources.
