Marketing Manager

Summary:

The Epsten Group, a multi-disciplinary architecture, engineering and consulting firm, is looking for a creative and dynamic Marketing Manager to help lead the marketing and communication efforts for the firm, including production of materials and proposals, and assist with business development opportunities. We are looking for a detail oriented professional to join our energetic and growing 60 person company based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field
• SMPS membership preferred
• AEC or related field experience – must be familiar with AEC terminology
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in marketing for an A&E firm
• Experience in successfully marketing for and procuring federal government projects preferred
• Working knowledge of Cosential CRM preferred
• Working with multiple deadlines, projects, clients, publications
• Knowledge of local, national, global trends in Sustainable Design and Consulting preferred
• Understanding of common technical terminology and projects phases for architecture, consulting, engineering, and sustainability services
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong attention to detail
Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain a marketing plan
• Identify potential client contacts and requests for proposals for public and private building projects
• Supervise marketing department and provide oversight of website development and maintenance
• Create and maintain databases related to business development
• Oversee on-going and future marketing initiatives
• Respond to RFQ/RFI’s and other solicitation/proposal opportunities
• Evaluate current workflow and make efficiency improvements
• Produce press releases and/or articles
• Manage and research award opportunities and submissions
• Identify possible events and media targets
• Identify advertising and sponsorship opportunities
