LEED Certification Reviewer

Summary:
Provide technical expertise for LEED certification and serve as a primary technical subject matter expert for the evaluation of projects pursuing LEED Certification.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a field of study related to one or more of the following specialties: Architecture (architecture, construction, landscape architecture, interior design) Engineering (mechanical, civil, structural)
• LEED AP required; with specialty preferred (BD+C, ID+C, O+M, ND)
• LEED project experience preferred
• Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize
• Experience serving in technical consultative role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
• Excellent ability to clearly explain advanced technical issues in manner that is easily understood
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
• Ability to work well both independently and on teams
• Willingness to self-initiate
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and LEED Online

Essential Functions:
• Understanding LEED-NC 2.2 rating systems including templates, and documentation requirements, and applying these LEED criteria to the review of documentation.
• Provide written comments in excellent grammar and spelling explaining the results of the review; stock language may be used if standard comments are applicable.
